We made it to St. Louis!!! After 41 days on the road we've come to our second to last ballpark. Prior to the game we caught up with Barry's friends, Colin and Mary, for a bite at one of Dave's old college hangouts - the infamous Blueberry Hill.

On our drive from Cleveland this morning we stopped by a few ballparks that we missed on our tour. Below are pictures of Cinergy Field (Cincinnati) and Three Rivers Stadium (Pittsburgh). Amazing how similar they look to Busch Stadium isn't it?

OK, for every city that has a "cookie cutter" stadium and is whining that they need a new stadium (i.e. - Philadephia and Cincinnati), take a look at what they've done with Busch Stadium. Amazing what a grass playing surface, a new paint job, and improved old style scoreboards can do for a stadium.

After a short rain delay, the Cards and Cubs took the field. Gary Gaetti's two run homer with two out in the bottom of the ninth won it for the Cards.

Our friend Bryan, a die-hard Cubs fan, was less than thrilled with the outcome of the game. Would you believe his face actually stayed that way? (Mom was right!)

Food Ratings for Busch Stadium
Hot Dog.......................................8
Hot Pretzel..................................7.5
Ice Cream....................................5
Hot Dog (not so hot actually)....1.327

Editorial Note: We really didn't eat that much at Busch, as the thick, juicy burgers and deep fried onion rings at Blueberry Hill filled us up. Barry had a pretty good hot dog, Terry got a cold one.
